Give me easy vegan recipes, please?
Could you give some super easy vegan recipes? could it be made up some veggie dish that has no more than 3-4 ingredients.
i always come across “easy” recipes that have like 15 ingredients in it. im not willing to go through making those dishes and i get turned off in attempting to make it. i don’t know how to cook. i’m just trying to eat healthy vegan stuff to lose weight. thanks.
Black beans:
can of black beans (either drain for less liquidy dish or include liquid for a more liquidy dish)
a cup or so of frozen corn
can of chopped stewed tomatoes liquid included (do not drain)
cajun spice (comes in a spice container and can be sprinkled on) to taste.
Add all ingredients to pot and warm for several minutes until corn is cooked.
Canned corn will also work (drain liquid)
Leftovers will freeze well.
Pinto beans are also good in this instead of the black beans.
————
peanut butter and banana on pita (amazingly good)
whole wheat pita bread, open up and and cut each side in half (there will be 4 half circles)
then lightly toast or bake until crispy but not burned.
Spread peanut butter on pita.
Slice banana and put on top.
one of my favorite things.
————-
Tofu, cut into chunks
Chopped bell pepper
Soy sauce
Oil
cooked rice
Put a tablespoon of oil and a tablespoon of soy sauce in a frying pan.
Saute bell pepper until just soft, then add tofu and saute until tofu starts to brown.
Serve over cooked rice.
——-
Broccoli and rice (really healthy) serves 1.
2 cups brocolli
1 cup cooked brown rice (make a larger amount and refrigerate the rest)
Smart balance (or Earth balance)
onion powder optional
Steam 2 cups of broccoli florets
Cook rice
Toss drained brocolli with a small amount of Smart balance and a few shakes of onion powder
Mix with about a cup of rice and serve.
——————-
Potatoes and broccoli (serves 1)
Boil 1 large red potato
Steam 2 cups broccoli
Smart balance optional
onion powder optional
chop cooked potato and sprinkle on broccoli
Add a little Smart balance, onion powder.
(basically the same as the rice and broccoli, just with potato)
———–
Tossed salad (serves 1)
At least 3 cups of your favorite salad greens – could be the mixed baby greens, or romaine lettuce or a mix of lettuce and baby spinach leaves.
about 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
about 1/3 cup raisins
canned drained garbanzo beans (chickpeas) about 1/3 cup. optional
tomato chopped optional
your favorite dressing
Toss all ingredients
The key here is to fill up on a really big salad.
—————–
Homemade hummus
Canned garbanzo beans, about 1 cup.
1 tablespoon oil, preferably olive oil
garlic powder
onion powder
salt, pepper to taste.
water
Mash garbanzo beans with a fork
Add oil and mash it in with beans
Sprinkle some garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, and mash it all together
Add a small amount of water as needed to make a creamy consistency.
Serve on pita or crackers.
They sell hummus at the store but I’m not sure how much oil is in it.
——-
Spaghetti
Spaghetti sauce
Veggie sausage crumbles from freezer section
Just add crumbles to sauce while heating. The crumbles only need to warm up, not cook.
